jimping privacy statement

Jimping is a free Windows network tool made by Jim Waller (wallernet.us). This statement covers the Jimping app and its download site, downloads.wallernet.us.

The app

• Jimping does not collect, send or sell any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics and no telemetry.
• It sends ICMP pings only to the hosts you choose, and looks up their names with your normal DNS settings.
• Your settings, saved watch lists and history files stay on your own PC, in %APPDATA%\Jimping and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Jimping. Nothing is uploaded.

The download site

• The site has no forms, sign-ups, cookies or tracking scripts.
• Files are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the files and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
